"Beth" began her reporting career in 1977, establishing Devine-Hall &Associates in 1978. She provides pro-bono work for counsel and for the hearing-impaired, as well as the Holocaust Oral History Project, and has piloted a mentor program for court reporting students.
 
    She first began demonstrating realtime in 1988 and has since given many seminars for the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, the Ventura County Bar Association, the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association, Paralegal and Legal Secretarial Associations, and the California Court Reporter Association.
 
    Beth was a founding board member of the Society for the Technological Advancement of Reporting.
 
      In 1993, her interest in electronic document management led to the founding of Devine-Hall Imaging. Her reporting firm specializes in document-intensive cases such as construction defect litigation. In 1997, she formed ATLAS Reporting, Ltd., in California, and in 1998 ATLAS Reporting, Inc., in Nevada with three reporting firm owners based in San Diego, San Francisco, Newport Beach and Las Vegas.

       In moments of leisure, she enjoys travel, golfing with her family, body surfing, and historical studies.
